Viva Valentina started as my Cosplay Alias that was born out of the belief that LOVE CONQUERS ALL. “Viva Valentina” means to live a life you love, and to let your light shine through your passions. “Anything can be fixed; nothing is beyond repair”
2020 was a year defined by loss and I experienced mine in March when I lost my mother to Lymphoma. As the world was going into quarantine and shutting down, so was I. In that loss, I felt the need to cling to anything that brought me comfort and security. My restoration of Baby Bear, a gift I gave my mom for Valentine’s Day years ago, empowered me to fix every other childhood stuffie I could. These restorations, in turn, helped me restore myself.
